Health Law Member Dianne Bourque was quoted by Health Payer Specialist in an article about an increase in behavioral health treatment in the corporate workplace. The article discusses the reality of confidentiality (or lack thereof) in these workplace therapy sessions.
Dianne says, "Privacy law is a little weird in the US – folks go into a care situation with expectations their information is protected but in this care model, the reality is, it is not.”
