The Mintz community is deeply saddened by the loss of our beloved friend and Chairman, R. Robert Popeo. Bob had a storied career, and his success as a litigator and a leader set the foundation for what Mintz has become today.
Richard G. Mintz
September 26, 1921 – April 20, 2011
The Mintz family mourns the loss of their colleague, friend, mentor, and partner Richard G. Mintz. The son of one of the founding partners of Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky & Popeo, PC, Mr. Mintz will long be remembered as the "soul" of Mintz, a man with a passion for people and life.

With immense sadness, we announce the death of the firm’s Name Member and former Washington, DC office head, Charles D. Ferris. During his 32-year tenure at Mintz, from 1981-2013, Charlie was instrumental in establishing our Communications practice and growing our Washington, DC office.
