NECEC's Annual Meeting

NECEC's 2017 Annual Meeting combines industry updates and discussions of 2018 NECEC priorities, along with an exploration of “digitalization” as a strategic framework for understanding the transformation underway in clean energy, the power sector and the emerging clean economy.

The meeting will begin with remarks by Christopher Sprague of the Boston University Questrom School of Business, drawing on recently published work by BU Professor Venkat Venkatraman, author of The Digital Matrix: New Rules for Business Transformation Through Technology. This Digital Matrix overview will arm attendees with a framework for navigating the world of digital ecosystems, rethinking business models, and making bold strategic choices throughout the phases of digital transformation.

Following the Digital Matrix presentation and a group discussion on the implications for clean energy, attendees will hear from Rafael Gonzalez, President and CEO of Enel Green Power North America, who will discuss the global company's E-Solutions strategy to capitalize on the power industry digital solutions transformation in areas such as electric mobility, vehicle to grid projects, recharging infrastructure, energy efficiency management, batteries and energy optimization platforms, public lighting and distributed generation systems.

Finally, the Annual Meeting will include a timely overview and discussion led by the NECEC senior team on priorities for 2018 NECEC initiatives and opportunities for member company involvement.
