We'll cover the new Massachusetts Paid Family and Medical Leave law, wage and hour issues, best practices for workplace trainings and investigations, effective use of non-competition and non-solicitation covenants, and more.

Our keynote speaker will be Sunila Thomas George, Chairwoman and Commissioner, Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (MCAD). With over 20 years of experience at the MCAD, Chairwoman George will share her insight into the agency’s inner workings and enforcement priorities — particularly against the backdrop of the #MeToo movement. Chairwoman George will discuss legislative action impacting the MCAD and notable case decisions among other topics, including the MCAD’s jurisdiction over the Massachusetts Pay Equity Act.
