Elana Safner will be a panelist during "Privacy Implications and Best Practices for Drone Operators" at InterDrone Online on December 16, 2020.
InterDrone, The International Drone Conference and Exposition, has a mission to connect, educate, and provide the necessary knowledge, tools, and business connections to advance the commercial drone industry. This panel will discuss how to navigate the complex labyrinth of legal and regulatory requirements for drone operators and cover some of the industry's best practices to establish a compliant privacy program. In the last Authorization Act, Congress included several privacy provisions that the FAA and drone companies must heed. In the past several years, States have also passed consumer privacy laws, facial recognition laws and other drone privacy laws for law enforcement with implications for drone operations.
