FTC Proposed Rule Banning Non-Competes

This webinar will discuss typical physician employment agreement non-compete terms and why they are used, as well as the impact on the physician employment market and physician mobility if the rule is finalized. We will review ways physicians might find themselves restricted in ways other than explicit non-competes (exclusive provider agreements between hospitals and groups; closed staffs, mandatory resignations from medical staffs) and why physician employers may amend their employment agreements to bolster these provisions. We will also look at the impact the rule may have on competition.
