Last year businesses and individuals reportedly lost almost $3 billion from Business Email Compromise (BEC) fraud.  This risk has been present for many years, but it remains a scourge on businesses as cybercriminals adapt and leverage AI to target companies more effectively.  This program will explore how BEC schemes operate, how they continue to evolve, and key cybersecurity measures to prevent and respond to attacks. It will also address actions to take to recover misdirected funds and legal strategies to protect clients from the fallout of BEC incidents.
