Health Law Member, Dianne Bourque will be a panelist on the session titled "Which Hat Are You Wearing? HIPAA and Privacy in Value Based Care" at the ABA Managed Care Institute 2024. 

The shift to value-based care puts greater emphasis on integrated care, meaning health care provider and administrative services vendors are increasing sharing patient information. In this evolution from fee-for-service health care, health information flowing within an enterprise and to outside partners, creates unique challenges for innovative care models. This session will explore the interplay between various state and federal law regimes that govern health privacy in managed and value-based care.
