Mintz Members Suparna Datta and Thomas Wintner will be speaking on a panel entitled, “Comparable Licenses, Apportionment, and Other Contested Issues in Calculating Reasonable Royalty” at the Massachusetts Chapter of the Federal Bar Association event, Damages in Patent Litigation - Recent Developments.
This panel will discuss issues that frequently arise in reasonable royalty damages testimony, with a focus on issues relating to comparable licenses and apportionment.
Speakers
Suparna Datta, PhD, is a patent litigator and registered patent attorney who represents clients in high-tech patent disputes before the ITC, the federal district courts, and the USPTO. She leverages her electrical and computer engineering background to handle matters involving telecommunications, consumer electronics, and software technology. Her practice also encompasses IP transactional work.
Thomas H. Wintner is an intellectual property and commercial litigator at Mintz. Tom handles cases in trial and appellate courts, counseling clients in life sciences, health care, education, real estate, and other sectors. He has extensive experience with patent litigation and other IP matters.
