Angela Kung Named to Attorney Intel’s 2024 List of “Top 25 Attorneys in Technology”

Mintz Technology, Communications & Media Practice Chair Angela Kung was named to Attorney Intel’s list of the “Top 25 Attorneys in Technology of 2024.” The list recognizes individuals who “are experts in a wide array of areas” and who use their “years of experience handling high-stakes litigation, complex transactions, and regulatory challenges, to advise a diverse range of clients, from emerging startups to global corporations, ensuring they remain competitive in an increasingly digital world.”

Angela leverages her extensive knowledge of the wireless regulatory landscape and experience at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to advise clients on FCC rules and compliance. She routinely advocates on behalf of clients to ensure that the agency’s rules align with their interests and business needs. With particular expertise on spectrum use policies and auction procedures, Angela has shepherded Mintz's clients through several FCC auctions related to next-generation 5G wireless services - including for low-, mid-, and high-band spectrum – as well as auctions for Universal Service Fund support to deploy advanced communications services in rural and unserved areas. She has also advised multiple clients on the $42.45 billion Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) program to expand high-speed broadband internet access service across the Nation.

Regarding her award, Angela says, “Practicing law in the technology, communications, and media space has been both a challenging and rewarding experience.  But one of the things I am most proud of is launching the ‘Next-Gen-Fem’ initiative at Mintz to bring together and empower emerging women leaders in the industry."
