The Benefits Of Pro Bono In Law Firms
Chair of Mintz's Pro Bono Committee Susan Finegan was quoted in the March/April issue of San Diego Lawyer Journal about the benefits that pro bono work has on firm culture, recruitment, and retention. Sue explained, "The founders of [Mintz] believed deeply in giving back to the community, and that is something that has remained unchanged at the firm, culturally, over the decades." She continued, "a byproduct to this deep commitment to pro bono has been that it has been a strong recruitment tool for prospective hires of the firm."
