Clouds Gather over ESG Investing as US Banks and Asset Managers Desert Climate Coalitions

ESG Practice Co-chair Jacob Hupart was quoted by Lexology PRO in an article about how climate coalitions focused on banking and investments, like the Net Zero Banking Alliance (NZBA), are losing some of their US partners as the new presidential administration prepares to take office.

Jacob said, "The departure of US banks from the NZBA now serves as a signal to the political forces currently in ascendancy following the recent federal elections that these departing institutions will be sensitive to the expressed concerns and skepticism of newly elected officials towards particular efforts to combat climate change."
