Mintz Member and Chair of the firm’s Intellectual Property Prosecution and Counseling Practice Fred C. Hernandez has been selected by the San Diego Daily Transcript (The Daily Transcript) as one of the “Top 50 Influential Leaders” in the San Diego business community for 2019. Mr. Hernandez was profiled in a special issue of The Daily Transcript published on Sept. 4.

Mr. Hernandez is a renowned patent lawyer with a robust practice focused on medical technology companies and institutions. In addition to managing large patent portfolios for Fortune 500 companies, he has significant experience collaborating with early-stage and emerging growth companies to manage their patent portfolios.

Outside of his extensive patent law work, Mr. Hernandez sits on Mintz’s Policy Committee and is chair of MIATTY, the firm’s affinity group for minority attorneys and senior professionals.
