Employers Banned From Pushing Politics Under Emerging State Laws
ESG Co-Chair Jennifer Rubin was quoted by Bloomberg Law in an article about emerging laws banning employers from holding mandatory workplace meetings that discuss political agendas.
Jennifer said, “Sometimes managers don’t really understand where they sit in the universe when it comes to the individuals who report to them. When a manager talks to their employees about voting for a particular candidate, they are potentially in the realm of violating the law.”
