Florida Permit Ruling Shows Species Law Can Disrupt Builders
Environmental Law Chair Jeff Porter spoke to Bloomberg Law about a recent federal court ruling that invalidated Florida’s control over a federal wetlands dredge-and-fill permitting program.
Jeff said, “This case is significant because it speaks to the weight of the Endangered Species Act and the significant effect the Act can have on Federal permitting, both respecting the granting of such permits and the time such permitting takes.”
