H-1B Employers Look to Remote Work Options During Visa Freeze
In an article published by Bloomberg Law, Mintz Member and Founding Chair of the firm’s Immigration Practice Susan Cohen commented on how employers are responding to President Trump’s recent order that temporarily bars foreign citizens from coming to the United States under certain employment-based visas, including H1-B visas for highly skilled workers. Specifically, many H-1B employers are leveraging new remote work arrangements, which have already proved successful in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
