How I Made Partner: LisaMarie Collins of Mintz
Mintz Member LisaMarie Collins was profiled in Law.com’s “How I Made Partner” column, which features recent partners at Am Law 200 firms, sharing their unique journeys to becoming partner. Ms. Collins began her career at Mintz in 2017 and was elevated to Member in January 2021.
In the profile, Ms. Collins discussed her commitment to partnering with clients to provide excellent client service. She also discussed her dedication to achieving greater diversity within Mintz, subsequently enabling the firm to better serve its clients. "I am constantly striving to meaningfully improve ‘diversity’. For me, that means more than numbers—it means people of color, women, and other diverse groups having a decision-making seat at the leadership table. It also means intentionally and authentically answering the call of our clients and potential clients as it relates to diversity." She also credited her success to Therese Doherty, a Member of Mintz’s Litigation Practice and Co-chair of the firm’s Financial Services Practice, saying “The impact that she has had on me, my work, and my career is immeasurable.”
Ms. Collins is a seasoned litigator with a robust complex commercial litigation practice. She has helped steer clients to successful resolutions in a variety of complex civil matters, and has a deep understanding of the litigation issues facing both public and private companies in a number of industries including, financial services, sports and entertainment, and health care.
