Joshua Fox and Stephen Osborn Join Mintz Corporate Practice
Mintz announced today that Joshua Fox and Stephen Osborn have joined the firm as Members in its corporate group. Mr. Fox is resident in the firm’s Boston office, and Mr. Osborn is based in San Francisco.
Mr. Fox represents clients in milestone transactions and general corporate matters throughout the business lifecycle. He has significant experience working with clients in the life sciences industry (biotechnology, diagnostics, and devices) and the technology industry, including digital health, software, technology-enabled services, and consumer products.
Mr. Fox represents companies ranging from start-ups to more established enterprises in a variety of corporate transactions. His practice includes a particular focus on entrepreneurial ventures and emerging companies. Mr. Fox has advised many founders and growing businesses from the earliest stages, prior to company formation, through successful exit events.
He regularly counsels clients on incorporation issues; advises companies in seed-stage, angel, venture capital, strategic, and other financings; and provides representation in mergers and acquisitions and initial public offerings. Prior to joining Mintz, Mr. Fox was a partner at WilmerHale.
Mr. Osborn draws on his in-house legal and business management experience to advise clients on transactional, corporate finance, and general corporate matters. He has particular experience with middle market mergers and acquisitions and regularly advises clients on exit strategies. Mr. Osborn represents public, private, and emerging growth companies in a variety of industries, including life sciences, technology, digital health, and retail and consumer products.
Prior to joining Mintz, Mr. Osborn co-founded a San Francisco-based boutique business law firm, where he guided companies of all sizes through complex business deals. Earlier, he was general counsel and vice president for business development of a venture-backed health and wellness software company and practiced at two international law firms. He also served as a law clerk and legislative director for commerce for former US Senator John Ensign (R-NV).

Osborn and Fox are the latest additions to the corporate team. In March, the firm, which recently posted its fourth year of record financial growth, welcomed lawyers Ed Pease and Larry Naughton. The pair has extensive experience advising technology companies.
