LOS ANGELES, CA – Mintz is pleased to announce that Los Angeles Managing Member, Joshua Briones has been named to The Los Angeles Business Journal’s 2022 “Top 100 Lawyers” list. The annual award recognizes Los Angeles’ top lawyers for their commitment to community involvement and substantial impacts to the profession.

Alongside his role as Los Angeles Managing Member, Mr. Briones is an experienced trial lawyer with a robust national practice. He represents clients across a variety of industries including financial services, building products, retail, pharmaceuticals, automotive, professional sports, food and beverage, chemical manufacturing, health care, high technology, and higher education, and has served as lead defense counsel on over 600 alleged class actions in state and federal courts across the country.  He also serves on the firm’s policy and compensation committees.

Under Mr. Briones’ leadership, Mintz’s Los Angeles office has grown sevenfold and developed additional capabilities in specialty practice areas. He has also led the way in promoting the firm’s diversity initiative and its commitment to community service out of the Los Angeles office.

This recognition highlights the accomplishments of the region’s most impactful attorneys. All 100 nominees were unveiled and honored at a reception on May 12.
