Mintz Adds Experienced Capital Markets and M&A Lawyer in Boston
Mintz is pleased to announce the addition of experienced capital markets and mergers and acquisitions lawyer Jason S. McCaffrey as a Member in the firm’s Corporate Practice in Boston. Mr. McCaffrey represents domestic and international public and private clients in a variety of industries, including life sciences, technology, energy, and financial services, in connection with corporate, securities, and regulatory matters.
Mr. McCaffrey’s practice focuses on advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, initial and secondary securities offerings for issuers and underwriters in the United States and the United Kingdom, tender offers, exchange offers, and federal securities law compliance. He has experience counseling special purpose acquisition companies (SPACs), their sponsors, and other SPAC transaction participants in initial public offerings, business combinations, and U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) compliance and filing obligations.
In addition, Mr. McCaffrey regularly advises companies and their boards on corporate governance, beneficial ownership reporting, fiduciary duties, SEC disclosure and reporting, annual meeting and proxy-related matters, and matters relating to compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and the rules and regulations of the SEC, New York Stock Exchange, and NASDAQ Stock Market. He also has extensive experience advising financial institutions and their holding companies on regulatory, corporate governance, securities, and transactional matters.
