Mintz Again Recognized with WILEF Gold Standard Certification

Mintz has again been recognized with a Gold Standard Certification by the Women in Law Empowerment Forum (WILEF) for achieving high levels of firm partnership and leadership roles held by women.

WILEF, a premier organization for women in law, is exclusively dedicated to women from the largest law firms and corporate law departments in the United States. Launched in 2011, WILEF’s Gold Standard Certification recognizes firms that meet objective criteria concerning the number of women among equity partners, in firm leadership positions, and in the ranks of their most highly compensated partners.

“A culture of inclusion has been a key to our growth and success as a firm,” said Meredith Leary, leader of the firm’s Women’s Initiative. “Overwhelming evidence demonstrates that efforts to achieve equality benefit us all, especially in the workplace. We are proud that WILEF has joined our clients in recognizing the tremendous accomplishments of women at our firm, and their contributions to our firm’s management, client service and strategic growth.”

Led by the Women's Steering Committee, Mintz’s Women’s Initiative sponsors numerous professional, networking, and social events aimed at supporting and enriching the lives of the firm’s female attorneys. The firm supports two additional affinity groups, Mintz Pride and MIATTY (Mintz’s Minority Attorneys Group) to provide peer-to-peer support and mentoring.

Mintz’s Gold Standard designation is just the latest of a number of accolades the firm has received in recognition of its diversity-friendly initiatives, having been designated as one of the “Best Law Firms for Women” by Working Mother magazine, and consistently is named one of the “Best Places to Work for LGBTQ Equality” by the Human Rights Campaign.
