Mintz Appoints Doug Hauer Co-Chair of Israel Business Practice Group
Douglas Hauer, a Member in the Corporate & Securities Practice of Mintz, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C., has been named co-chair of the firm's Israel Business Practice Group (IBP). Mr. Hauer joins Adam L. Sisitsky, a member in the Litigation Section and chair of the IBP since 2011.

Mintz has been focused on the Israel-related business market since 2001. The firm launched its dedicated IBP in 2006 and established a liaison office in Tel Aviv in 2009. Mintz currently advises more than 100 clients who have ties to Israel, including Israeli companies operating in the US and domestic companies with Israel-related transactions. Mintz serves a diverse variety of clients in its IBP Group - ranging from startups to publicly traded companies – in a broad spectrum of matters, including general corporate work, IP, high-tech, clean-tech, litigation, employment, immigration and regulatory matters.
Mr. Hauer, who also practices in the firm’s Immigration Practice, represents multinational corporations in the financial services, technology, management consulting, hedge fund, specialty chemicals, insurance, defense, and engineering sectors. His work in corporate law focuses on private offerings and related securities work. Mr. Hauer also focuses on all aspects of business immigration law. He also serves as counsel to developers and companies seeking capital through the EB-5 investor visa program.
