Mintz Attorney Benjamin R. Sigel Honored by Combined Jewish Philanthropies for Contributions to Boston’s Jewish Community
Benjamin R. Sigel, an attorney in the Litigation Section and Israel Business Practice of Mintz, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C., has been named a 2013 Chai in the Hub honoree by Combined Jewish Philanthropies (CJP). Mr. Sigel will be recognized at the CJP Chai Society Mega Event on November 16 in Boston, Massachusetts.
The first annual Chai in the Hub award recognizes influential young adults who are making a difference in Boston’s Jewish community. Mr. Sigel is one of 18 individuals selected for the honor.
Mr. Sigel is the former Chair of CJP’s Young Leadership Division and the Young Jewish Leaders Council. He sits on CJP’s Israel & Overseas Committee and has served on numerous CJP committees. He currently serves as the Global Co-Chair of ACCESS and on the boards of AJC National & Boston, Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Boston, Gann Academy, American Society for the University of Haifa, and Northeastern University School of Public Policy and Urban Affairs.
Mr. Sigel’s practice focuses on a wide range of matters, including complex commercial, construction, real estate, and the professional liability of lawyers, engineers, architects, and brokers. Mr. Sigel regularly advises corporate executives, investors, entrepreneurs, and business entities with respect to a wide range of business and legal issues. He counsels international companies, including Israeli companies, on growth strategies targeting the US market.
