Dawn Saunders, a Member of the Real Estate Section of Mintz, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C., has been elected to the Board of Directors of Athena San Diego. Ms. Saunders will serve a three-year term beginning on January 1, 2015.

Athena San Diego is a professional development association for female executives in life sciences and technology.  The Athena San Diego network provides leadership, support and educational programs to promote personal and professional growth for women executives and rising managers. 

Ms. Saunders’ experience is focused on commercial leasing and purchase and sale transactions. Her client base includes large institutional landlords as well as a full range of real estate users, primarily in the life sciences and technology sectors. Ms. Saunders’ leasing practice encompasses retail and industrial/R&D leasing in addition to office and lab space. She also regularly advises clients on the real estate implications of mergers, acquisitions, or related corporate financing and restructuring.
