Mintz Attorney Jennifer Rubin to Moderate San Diego Human Rights Campaign Panel Discussion
Jennifer B. Rubin, a Member of the Employment, Labor and Benefits Practice of Mintz, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C. is moderating a panel discussion presented by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) and Qualcomm. The breakfast event takes place Thursday, December 3 at Qualcomm in San Diego.
Ms. Rubin, who previously served as the National Chair of Mintz Diversity Committee, will be moderating a panel discussion on LGBT ally programs, which are intended to garner support from non-LGBT employees to help achieve workplace equality. The panelists include Karen Fasheun, Program Manager, Global Diversity and Inclusion at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., Jean-Marie Navetta Director of Equality and Diversity Partnerships at PFLAG National, and Cory Calvin, Senior Finance Manager and global co-chair for the LGBTA ERG, PepsiCo.
For the ninth straight year, Mintz, has received a top rating of 100% on the Corporate Equality Index (CEI), a national benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to LGBT workplace equality, administered by the HRC. The CEI evaluates LGBT-related policies and practices including non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency programs, and public engagement with the LGBT community.
