Mintz Attorney Jeremy D. Glaser to Speak at Consumers as Investors – Redefining Financing Options for Entrepreneurs Workshop
Jeremy D. Glaser, Co-Chair of the Venture Capital & Emerging Companies Practice of Mintz, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C., is participating in a panel discussion on “Consumers as Investors – Redefining Financing Options for Entrepreneurs.” The workshop will take place on May 24 at the Viceroy Santa Monica Hotel in Santa Monica, CA.
The panel will explore recent trends in retail, consumer technology and capital raising options. Mr. Glaser will discuss the new SEC crowdfunding rules, including accredited investor crowdfunding and Regulation A+. He will present on this topic along with panelists representing a variety of fields, including online retailing, crowdfunding platforms, and financial services and investment firms.
Mr. Glaser regularly represents technology-based companies principally in the software, mobile applications, clean energy, medical device and life science fields. He represents both issuers and underwriters in a wide variety of securities transactions, including IPOs, secondary offerings, and private placements; and represents venture capital firms, hedge funds and their portfolio companies in venture capital and PIPE financings. Mr. Glaser is also a key contributor to MintzEdge, an online resource for entrepreneurs that includes useful tools and information for starting and growing a company.
