Mintz Attorney Kaitlin R. Walsh Elected to International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation’s New York Chapter Board of Directors
Kaitlin R. Walsh, an Attorney in the Bankruptcy and Restructuring Practice of Mintz, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C., was elected to the Board of Directors of the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation’s (IWIRC) New York Chapter. Ms. Walsh will serve as the IWIRC New York Communications Co-Chair.
The IWIRC is committed to the connection, promotion and success of women in the insolvency and restructuring professions worldwide. The New York IWIRC network offers unique benefits to lawyers, financial advisors, lenders, turnaround managers, information and claims management specialists and other related disciplines.

Ms. Walsh’s practice in bankruptcy law is focused on corporate restructurings and insolvencies. She represents debtors, creditors, purchasers, lenders and other parties-in-interest in Chapter 11 reorganizations, out-of-court restructurings and bankruptcy litigation. Before joining the firm, Ms. Walsh practiced in the New York office of another international law firm. While in law school, she served as the production editor for the New York University Journal of International Law and Politics.
