Mintz Attorney Kevin N. Ainsworth Appointed to New York State-Federal Judicial Council Advisory Group
Kevin N. Ainsworth, a Member of the Litigation Section of Mintz, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C., has been named to the Advisory Group of the New York State-Federal Judicial Council. The Council is composed of Federal and State Judges appointed by the Chief Judges of the State of New York and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, assisted by an Advisory Group of judges and practitioners. The mission of the Council is to foster improved communication and cooperation among Federal and State court systems throughout New York by developing and sponsoring joint projects.
Mr. Ainsworth’s practice focuses on advising clients in intellectual property litigation and other complex or international commercial disputes, including arbitrations and appeals. He is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and serves on the boards of directors of the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation and the Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation. In addition, he has been selected each year since 2010 as a Super Lawyer for the New York Metro Region.
