Laurence J. Freedman, a Member of the Health Law Practice of Mintz, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C., is moderating a panel discussion at the 15th Annual Advanced Forum on Fraud & Abuse in the Sales and Marketing of Drugs presented by the American Conference Institute (ACI). The panel is being held on March 13 at the Omni Parker House in Boston, Massachusetts.

Mr. Freedman’s panel is entitled, "The Federal Anti-Kickback Statute: Identifying Enforcement Priorities.” Panelists will address recent litigation and settlements in Anti-Kickback Act cases brought by the Department of Justice, as well as the changing landscape with respect to coupons and co-payment assistance to making medication more affordable to customers while avoiding the potential landmines of Anti-Kickback Statute and False Claims Act violations.
