Mintz Continues San Francisco Office Growth with Addition of Joshua Foust
Mintz Cohn Ferris Glovsky and Popeo, P.C. has expanded its San Francisco office with the addition of Joshua T. Foust who joins the firm’s Litigation Practice.
Formerly an attorney with Davis, Polk and Wardwell, LLP, Mr. Foust’s practice is focused on complex commercial litigation, financial services and securities litigation, civil RICO actions, consumer protection actions, and bankruptcy litigation. He has advised clients in the financial services and accounting fields, among others, both in the US and abroad.
With the recent addition of Mina Nasseri and Dominque Windberg, Mintz San Francisco office is now home to 16 attorneys. The office opened in 2012.
Mr. Foust has robust experience in all phases of litigation, from electronic discovery and depositions to merits briefing and trial preparation. While at his previous firm he acted as the lead drafter for many successful briefs, including briefing for motions to dismiss, motions for summary judgment, pretrial memoranda of law, discovery motions, oppositions to class certification, and contested bankruptcy motions. He also prepared for direct and cross examinations at trials and hearings, provided clients with legal analyses on regulatory and legislative securities developments, and assisted clients in developing defense strategies
