Mintz Expands Corporate & Securities Practice with Addition of Matthew Gardella in Boston
Mintz, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C. is bolstering its Corporate & Securities practice with the addition of Matthew Gardella, a veteran attorney who has extensive experience in securities offerings and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Gardella joins as a Member based in Boston.
Mr. Gardella brings more than 20 years of experience helping companies navigate complex transactions, including IPOs; private investments in public equity (PIPEs); follow-on public equity and debt offerings; private placements; and mergers and acquisitions. He has served as counsel for clients engaged in a broad range of industries, including retail, technology, life sciences and media/telecommunications.

Mr. Gardella regularly advises officers and directors on such matters as Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance and the ongoing reporting requirements of publicly traded companies. He is a frequent speaker on how these issues affect firms and their executive officers and directors.
Mr. Gardella has been recognized by U.S. News & World Report and Best Lawyers as one of the “Best Lawyers in America” for Corporate Law, Corporate Governance and Compliance Law. He holds a J.D. from Boston University and a B.A. from Dartmouth College, and has served as a member of the Board of Overseers of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston, and as Co-Chair of the Securities Law Committee of the Boston Bar Association.
