Mintz Expands Tax Practice in New York with New Member Jonathan Talansky
Mintz, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C. has added to its Tax Practice in New York with the addition of Jonathan Talansky, who joins as a Member.
Previously with Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, Mr. Talansky has served as lead tax attorney in a diverse range of transactions involving capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, investment funds and financial products. He has negotiated numerous agreements and advised clients on structuring leveraged buy-outs, joint ventures, public company mergers and leveraged spin-offs.

Mr. Talansky graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School where he served as Line Editor for the Harvard Journal of Law and Technology. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Columbia University, where he graduated summa cum laude. He is a former intern for the U.S. Attorney of the Eastern District of New York and was named a Rising Star in the tax area by Super Lawyers in 2012.
