Mintz Named Among ‘Most Feared’ Litigation Firms by BTI Consulting

Mintz was recognized in BTI Consulting’s 2025 Litigation Outlook as one of the most feared law firms for litigation. The firm was named amongst “The BTI Intimidating Opponents” — firms that legal decision makers say “stand out” as formidable opponents they would rather not litigate against.

The firm was also recognized in nine other litigation categories including:

  • Litigation Leaders: IP Litigation
  • Litigation Distinguished: Class Action Litigation
  • Litigation Standouts: Cybersecurity Litigation
  • Litigation Leaders: Securities & Finance Litigation
  • Litigation Distinguished: Complex Employment Litigation
  • Litigation Distinguished: Employment Litigation
  • Litigation Standouts: Product Liability Litigation
  • Litigation Leaders: Complex Commercial Litigation
  • Litigation Leaders: Commercial Litigation

BTI’s Litigation Outlook observes that litigation is increasingly more complex with higher stakes. “Add new and novel cases around AI, data, social media, and sophisticated bad actors in data privacy — and you have a whole new category of litigation brewing.”

The 2025 Litigation Outlook report results are based on a survey of the industry’s top legal decision makers including general counsels and chief legal officers that asks which law firms they would least like to see as opposing counsel. Learn more about the report here.
