Mintz, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C. has been named among the Best Life Sciences Law Firms for 2016 in the inaugural Life Science Law Firm Index.  The index was developed by Lake Whillans, a litigation finance firm, in collaboration with research partners at Breaking Media, the publishers of industry sites MedCity News and Above the Law.

According to Lake Whillans, the index was created “to inform innovators about which firms are the leaders in the multi-faceted interplay between the legal market and the industry.” The rankings methodology was designed to reflect a holistic view of the role of a law firm throughout the life cycle of a life sciences company from inception through product launch, marketing and sales. In addition to collecting data in three practice categories — corporate, intellectual property and regulatory — the index also incorporates information on the firms’ work with startup companies, as well as their thought leadership efforts.
