Firm Awarded 10-Year Contracts for Biotechnology and Mechanical Engineering Innovations

Mintz is pleased to share that the National Institutes of Health (NIH) has awarded the firm contracts to provide patent-legal services for two of its technology areas, Biotechnology and Mechanical Engineering. Mintz is among a short list of firms to be awarded 10-year contracts with the NIH after a rigorous selection process. 

A part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the NIH is recognized as the largest biomedical research agency in the world.

Pete Corless, a Member in Mintz’s Intellectual Property Practice and a leader in the firm’s patent prosecution practice, will lead the team advising the NIH.
