Mintz Welcomes TechComm Member Danielle Frappier

Mintz is pleased to announce that Danielle Frappier has joined as a Member of the Technology, Communications & Media (TechComm) Practice in the firm’s Washington, DC office. A communications and technology regulatory lawyer with nearly 25 years of experience, Danielle has represented entities across the telecommunications ecosystem, focusing on the intersection of new technologies and traditional regulatory schemes and broadband funding programs.

“Danielle is a nationally recognized advisor on public funding programs who has worked with many of the world's best-known technology and communication companies,” said Bob Bodian, Managing Member. “She will be a great asset to our TechComm clients as we help them anticipate challenges and create solutions to benefit their businesses.”

Throughout her career, Danielle has worked with industries and governments in emerging economies to build a dynamic telecommunications sector through counseling regarding policy, legal, and regulatory reforms and advising on transactions. 

“Danielle has a well-earned reputation for helping companies achieve successful outcomes at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and regulatory constraints,” said Angela Kung, Chair of Mintz’s Technology, Communications & Media Practice. “Her deep industry experience, both in-house and in private practice, will be instrumental to the continued growth of our TechComm practice.”

Prior to joining Mintz, Danielle was Senior Corporate Counsel at Amazon, where she led the global internet service legal compliance team for Project Kuiper. Earlier in her career, Danielle chaired the Communications Practice Group at an Am Law 100 firm and previously served as a senior legal and regulatory advisor with an international IT and communications technology consultancy.
