Mintz’s Jeremy A. Spector to Moderate Panel on Tax Reform at 2013 ABA Section of Taxation Mid-year Meeting
Jeremy A. Spector, a Member in the Tax and Public Finance Sections of Mintz. Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C., will be the moderator of a panel discussion at the American Bar Association’s Section of Taxation mid-year meeting. The meeting is being held January 24-26 in Orlando, Florida.
Mr. Spector will be moderating a panel on January 25th entitled “Will the Historical Approach of Exempting Interest on Municipal Bonds be Radically Changed by the New Congress?” The panel will feature a discussion on tax reform with Professor John Buckley, former Chief Democratic Tax Counsel, U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Ways and Means, Vicky Tsilas, Attorney-Advisor, Office of Tax Policy, Department of Treasury, Treasury Department, and Michael Decker, Managing Director and Co-Head of Municipal Securities Division of SIFMA

Mr. Spector has been counseling clients in the tax aspects of public finance transactions since 1984. He leads Mintz’s Tax-Exempt Bond Controversy Resolution Practice.
