Mintz's Joanne Hawana Receives KIND's Pro Bono Advocate Of The Year Award
Mintz is pleased to announce that Member Joanne Hawana has been awarded the Pro Bono Advocate of the Year Award by Kids In Need of Defense (KIND) for her exceptional contributions to her clients’ cases. The annual awards “recognize outstanding attorneys and volunteers who have gone above and beyond in their assistance to unaccompanied children.”
Joanne’s professional practice centers primarily on the federal laws that apply to FDA-regulated products and their sale. She regularly works with colleagues in the corporate and intellectual property departments to ensure holistic advice and counsel is being provided to Mintz clients across the spectrum of life sciences and consumer product industries that fall within the ambit of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. FDA-regulated industries include those that develop, produce, or distribute human drugs, biologics, regenerative medicine products, foods, cosmetics, and a variety of different types of medical devices and diagnostics.
