Mintz’s Michael Renaud Shortlisted for Practitioner of the Year (Litigation) – Massachusetts by Managing IP Awards 2021
Mintz is pleased to share that Member and Chair of the firm’s Intellectual Property Division Michael T. Renaud has been shortlisted for Practitioner of the Year (Litigation) – Massachusetts by Managing IP Awards 2021. Mr. Renaud is one of five leading IP attorneys across the state named to the prestigious shortlist based on their work over the past year. Winners will be announced at a virtual awards ceremony on April 7.
Chair of Mintz’s Intellectual Property Division and a member of the firm’s Policy Committee, Mr. Renaud is an IP litigator and patent strategist who helps firm clients protect and generate revenue from their patent holdings. Mr. Renaud has led teams in the past year to success in the International Trade Commission, at the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, and Federal district courts. Clients also rely on him to handle complex and sensitive negotiations of licensing agreements, patent acquisitions and sales, and other technology transactions. In recognition of his professional accomplishments, Mr. Renaud is repeatedly recognized by Intellectual Asset Magazine (IAM) as an industry-leading patent strategist and practitioner in its “Strategy 300” and “Patent 1000” lists, and as an “IP Star” for patent law by Managing IP. Additionally, in 2021, he was listed in IAM’s inaugural “Strategy 300 Global Leaders” list – an elite class of leading strategic thinkers in the IP world.
