Mintz’s Pedro Suarez to Moderate IP Panel at Hispanic National Bar Association Annual Corporate Counsel Conference
Pedro F. Suarez, a Member in the Intellectual Property Section of Mintz, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C., will be moderating a panel at the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) Annual Corporate Counsel Conference. The conference is being held March 13-16 in Atlanta, GA.
The title of the panel is "Managing Your IP Portfolio: Current Trends and Best Practices."
The HNBA is an incorporated, not-for-profit, national membership organization that represents the interests of the more than 100,000 Hispanic attorneys, judges, law professors, legal assistants, and law students in the United States and its territories.
Mr. Suarez has extensive experience in handling patent matters for emerging and global high-technology companies, and draws on his litigation experience to prepare and prosecute patents with an eye towards enforcement. Mr. Suarez also draws on his technical and legal experience to assist venture funds and high-tech companies conduct IP due diligence investigations in connection with the acquisition of IP assets. Mr. Suarez has also litigated patent infringement and validity disputes before several US district courts, in matters involving multiple patents and complex technologies. Mr. Suarez is also a Board member of STC.UNM, the technology transfer arm of the University of New Mexico.
