Mintz's Pro Bono Work Honored by New England Chapter of American Association of Pro Bono Lawyers
Mintz received one of the American Association of Pro Bono Lawyers (AILA) - New England's Pro Bono Awards as a true champion of pro bono and a professional exemplar. Mintz was specifically highlighted for the firm's pro bono work in co-counseling the challenge to the first "travel ban" presidential executive order earlier this year. Accepting the award for the firm was Susan Cohen.
The American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) is a national association of more than 15,000 attorneys and law professors who represent U.S. families seeking permanent residence for close family members, as well as U.S. businesses seeking talent from the global marketplace. AILA members also represent foreign students, entertainers, athletes, and asylum seekers, often on a pro bono basis.
