Jones has once again been selected as one of the Daily Journal’s Top White Collar Lawyers for 2023- the publication’s annual supplement of California’s premier white collar lawyers. This marks his third consecutive year of receiving this prestigious recognition. Among his various successes and contributions, the publication highlights Mr. Jones’s victory for the manager of a global digital advertising firm in a ten-count federal indictment on charges of conspiracy, wire fraud, and electronic mail fraud; a novel case that involved the first CAN-SPAM Act prosecution in the country.

Mr. Jones is an esteemed trial lawyer, civil litigator, and former federal prosecutor. He represents large corporations and individuals in complex commercial and business disputes, investigations, and white collar defense matters. Prior to private practice, Mr. Jones served for almost three decades as an Assistant US Attorney in the U.S. Department of Justice, where he investigated and prosecuted numerous white collar, narcotics, immigration, and violent crimes.
