ML Strategies Vice President of Government Relations to Speak at 2016 PACE TCPA Washington Summit
Alexander Hecht, Vice President of Government Relations of ML Strategies, the government relations and business advisory affiliate of Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C., is participating in a panel discussion at the 2016 TCPA Washington Summit, presented by the Professional Association for Customer Engagement (PACE). The conference is taking place September 17-20 at the W Hotel in Washington, DC.
In his panel, Mr. Hecht will discuss recent legislative activity in Congress to spur greater business compliance and consumer protections under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). Other panelists will include Ken Sponsler, Senior Vice President and GM of CompliancePoint, a leading national compliance, risk mitigation and customer engagement firm.
PACE is a non-profit trade organization dedicated to the advancement of companies using a multichannel approach to engage their customers. The TCPA Washington Summit focuses on TCPA regulations and examines the latest changes in consumer protection and risk management.
Mr. Hecht has more than 15 years of senior-level experience in Congress and trade associations. He assists clients with their legislative and regulatory needs on a wide range of issues, including health care, telecommunications, the TCPA, technology, energy, and federal procurement. Mr. Hecht is regarded as one of the leading congressional staff specialists on the regulatory process and how federal agencies promulgate rules and regulations. He has developed numerous bills and amendments reducing the regulatory compliance burden of business.
