McKitterick and Ellen Shapiro authored an article for The Deal discussing divides amongst state legislations regarding the implementation of ESG factors in investment decisions. The authors explain, "Companies operating in both red and blue states, as well as institutional investors, must navigate the growing legislative incongruence. Doing so will require specific attention to the growing body of state law concerning ESG-focused investing."
