Mintz Members Lara Compton, Ellen Janos, and Associate Cassandra Paolillo co-authored an article published in the July-September issue of the California Academy of PAs covering the potential downfalls of telehealth prescribing. The authors summarized, "Telehealth providers must also use their clinical judgment to ensure that the telehealth encounter is adequate to meet the standard of care for prescribing the controlled substance indicated".
