A Primer on “Low-Cost” Group Health Plans
Susan W. Berson, Managing Member of Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C.’s Washington, D.C. office and a Member of the firm’s Health Law Practice, will speak at the 2013 Israel Advanced Technologies Industries (IATI) BioMed Conference. The conference is being held June 10-12 in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Ms. Berson’s presentation is entitled, "Innovation in the Era of Health Reform."

Ms. Berson focuses on advising private and public health care service providers, including managed care organizations, pharmaceutical services providers, such as PBMs, behavioral health companies, specialty care companies, and integrated delivery systems, often in the context of strategic affiliations and complex service agreements. She has advised some of the nation’s largest government health programs and has negotiated some of the nation’s largest pharmacy service agreements, and also advises on complex mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and network development programs. Ms. Berson also has significant experience assisting venture capital groups and investment banks with investments in the health care industry. In addition to serving as Managing Member of the Washington, D.C. office and Member of the Health Law Practice, Ms. Berson is a member of the firm’s Policy Committee.
