Rebecca A. Lee & Benjamin Sigel Honored Among Boston’s Most Influential People of Color
Mintz is proud to announce that Rebecca A. Lee and Benjamin R. Sigel have been named to GK100 2018: Boston’s 100 most Influential People of Color by Get Konnected! Ms. Lee, a Member with the firm, also chairs the Real Estate Development Practice. Mr. Sigel is Special Counsel and Director of Client and Community Relations.
Get Konnected! is Boston’s premier urban, professional, social and multicultural networking event. This is the second annual edition of GK100, Boston’s 100 Most Influential People of Color which recognizes those making positive contributions to the Greater Boston community while serving as role models for next generation of leaders. Ms. Lee and Mr. Sigel and the complete GK100 were honored at a March 27th event at The Boston Foundation.
Ms. Lee has extensive experience relating to land use and development in the Greater Boston area. She represents corporations, developers, lenders and nonprofit organizations in a range of real estate matters, including financing, leasing, the procurement of entitlements, property dispositions, condominium creation, site acquisitions and assemblages, and related tax incentive transactions. Ms. Lee previously served as Chief of Staff/Special Counsel to the Director at the Boston Redevelopment Authority. Outside the office, Ms. Lee is actively involved in the community. She is a member of the steering committee for Ricesticks and Tea Asian Food Pantry, Boston’s only emergency food pantry program serving more than 100 low-income Asian American households each month. She also serves as a member of the Boston Harbor Now Advisory Board, the Asian Community Development Corporation Board of Directors, and the WGBH Finance Committee.
Mr. Sigel coordinates and supports the efforts of the firm’s client and community relations activities, including deepening client relationships, increasing and expanding the firm's institutional reputation and goodwill, and effectively and efficiently bringing added value to the firm's clients and community partners.
