Rebecca A. Lee Named Fellow in American College of Real Estate Lawyers

Mintz is pleased to announce that Rebecca A. Lee has been named a Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers.

The American College of Real Estate Lawyers (ACREL) is “the premier organization of U.S. real estate lawyers.” Admission is by invitation only after a rigorous peer review process. ACREL's distinguished, nationally-known lawyers are elected to fellowship for “their outstanding legal ability, experience and high standards of professional and ethical conduct in the practice of real estate law.”

Ms. Lee represents developers, lenders, nonprofit organizations and other parties in real estate matters related to financing, leasing, site acquisitions and assemblages, and related tax incentive transactions. She has extensive experience relating to land use and development permitting in the Greater Boston area.

Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Lee was a partner at Locke Lord LLP and Goodwin Procter LLP.

From 2004 to 2005,  Ms. Lee served as Chief of Staff/Special Counsel to the Director at the Boston Redevelopment Authority (now known as the Boston Planning & Development Agency) where she was responsible for policy development and representation of the agency in financing transactions, among other areas.

Ms. Lee is involved with many community organizations, and serves on the Steering Committee for  the Ricesticks and Tea Asian Food Pantry, the Board of Directors for The Greenway Conservancy and  Asian Community Development Corporation,  on the Finance Committee of WGBH, and on the Advisory Committee for Boston Harbor Now. She is a former President of Asian American Lawyers Association of Massachusetts, and a former Northeast Regional Governor of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association.
