Member Jacob Hupart was quoted by Bloomberg Law in an article about how several states have introduced bills that would make large companies disclose their carbon emissions. 

In the article, Jacob discusses SEC proposed guidelines and points out that even before President Donald Trump took office, the SEC rule was already perceived to be on shaky legal ground due to concerns that the regulation’s granular reporting requirements could exceed the agency’s authority. However, some companies liked the rule for its uniformity, he says.
