Three Mintz Attorneys Selected for Boston’s Future Leaders Program
Nicholas C. Cramb, Patricia A. Moran and Garrett M. Winslow of Mintz, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C. have been named to the 2013 Boston’s Future Leaders class by the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce. The year-long program aims to “identify the leaders of tomorrow and engage them in the business and civic life of our community by providing a platform for professional development and significant opportunities for growth and exposure.”
Launched in 2004, Boston’s Future Leaders program provides numerous opportunities for its members, including leadership development seminars at Harvard Business School and Suffolk University, Sawyer Business School. To be selected, participants must work for a Chamber member organization, hold a mid- to senior-level management position within their organization, and be identified as having high potential for an executive-level position.
Mr. Cramb is an attorney in the firm’s Litigation Section. His practice includes all areas of complex litigation, with focuses on insurance / reinsurance disputes and real estate litigation. Mr. Cramb represents a wide range of clients, from shopping malls to individual property owners, in disputes involving zoning, subdivision, and wetland issues. He also represents insurers and reinsurers on matters of coverage, the duty to defend, allocation, and bad faith. Mr. Cramb is a director of the Massachusetts Reinsurance Bar Association (MReBA) and a member of ARIAS-U.S.
Ms. Moran is an attorney in Mintz’s Employment, Labor & Benefits Section. She counsels clients on employee benefits and compensation matters, including federal and state health care reform; COBRA; mental health parity laws; 401(k), 403(b), and other retirement plans; and benefits-related aspects of corporate transactions. In particular, Ms. Moran represents clients in audits and examinations initiated by government agencies, including the Internal Revenue Service, the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation, and the Massachusetts Department of Unemployment Assistance (relating to Massachusetts health care reform).
Mr. Winslow is an attorney in the firm’s Corporate & Securities Section. His practice includes many areas of corporate law, with a focus on securities law. Mr. Winslow advises public companies and underwriters in connection with initial and secondary public offerings, SEC reporting compliance, listing requirements, and general corporate governance matters. In addition, he represents public and private companies and investors in a wide range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, stock and asset purchases, and other finance transactions.
